Eclipse Energy Update: The Purification of Virgo + The Art of Letting Go
Eclipses open potent portals of transformation and change.
Eclipses re-arrange, re-structure, and re-write. The changes it brings often comes uncertainty, weariness, and the urge to control.
This New Moon Eclipse brings us the medicine of Virgo’s purification, not through fire, but through embodiment. Through the body. Through presence. Virgo helps us notice our patterns and refine what serves vs what does't.
Some of the Themes of Purification that may be illuminated during this portal:
- Purification of Body + Health. You may not be feeling optimal in your health and body at this time, or physical symptoms may be surfacing asking for your attention or asking to be tended with care and nourishment. Are you listening?
"Which of my habits feel heavy, which feels nurturing/nourishing?"
- Purification of our Embodiment. You may be in a time of reassessing or redefining how you are showing up in the world. You may be in a time of reflection and observation about who you are being, how you're show up in service, in your relationships, your environments, and what needs refining.
"What outdated version of myself is dissolving right now? What new aspects are being asked to emerge?"
- Purification of trying to Control. Is there a part of you that's clenching, tense, holding on for dear life, and trying to control what is uncontrollable? Are you feeling out of control, powerless or victimized by something in your reality at this time?
"What am I tight gripping and trying to control? What area am I not trusting source to support me fully and where I feel the need to rely on my own strength."
- Purification of Patterns of Perfectionism. What aspects of yourself are you being hard on yourself about, focused on flaws, feeling a need to fix something about yourself or life? Are you making yourself wrong about things? What stories do you hold about yourself? When life or the world responds to you, how do you respond back?
"What area am I trying too hard to be perfect? What would happen if I just allowed myself to be and that was enough?"
Eclipses bring the shadows to be illuminated.
What is surfacing now is what is ready to be transformed.
Trust that the uncovering itself is the path of purification and transformation.
